Meet Ryan Watts

About

My name is Ryan Watts.

I have been engineering solutions for nearly 8 years now. Throughout the years I have developed a passion for working with the latest advancements in web technologies.

In 2009 I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where I studied Mobile Application Development. At the time it was common to believe, if you were a mobile developer, you could some day potentially make millions. As I studied at Northern Arizona University I met my amazing wife whom was also attending NAU studying Interior Design.

Around 2012 I moved to Tucson Arizona to be closer to family. Soon after moving to Tucson Arizona I began working for a company called Simpleview where I worked as a CMS Support Developer for just shy of 2 years. I realized my previous studies of Mobile Development was too narrow and decided to focus my education on Software Engineering at Western Governors University.

I have since transitioned to the Digital Marketing / Business Intelligence department where I handle day to day tasks related to Data Analysis, Software Engineering, Analytics Tracking, and many other solutions.

In 2016 my wife and I were blessed with our first addition to our family, our amazing son Isaiah.

I am now in my Senior year at Western Governors University with plans to major in Data Management / Data Analytics and minor in Software Engineering.

My plans are to continue my education as a Graduate student studying Data Science, and to some day complete Doctoral studies for Data Science.
